Materials needed
- Paste for non-woven wallpaper (available in our store)
- Paste roller or brush
- Smoothing tool and clean cloth
- Utility knife with a new blade and metal ruler
- Spirit level or plumb line
Prepare the wall
The wall must be clean, dry, smooth and even. Fill any holes and sand down uneven areas. On a dark wall, apply a white primer.
Hang non-woven wallpaper
- Use the level to draw a vertical line for positioning the first strip.
- Apply paste to the wall (not the wallpaper) across the width of one strip.
- Hang strip no. 1, leaving extra at the top and bottom, then smooth from the centre outwards.
- Hang the following strips edge to edge, in numerical order.
- Trim the excess with the utility knife and ruler.
